Deep in the snowy forests of Russia lives a very special furry friend. Meet the Siberian cat, a fluffy explorer built for the freezing cold. These wild woods in Asia have been their home for hundreds of years. To stay warm in the icy wind, the Siberian wears three whole layers of thick fur. Around their neck is a big collar of fluff that looks just like a lion's mane. Their giant paws even have extra tufts of hair acting like built-in snow boots! You might think such a big, heavy cat would be slow and sleepy. But Siberians are incredible jumpers who love to leap to the highest branches. They zoom through the snow and chase falling leaves like tiny acrobats. Most cats run away from a bath, but not this brave explorer! Their magical thick coat keeps the freezing water right off their skin. A Siberian cat will happily splash in a puddle or try to catch drops from a leaky faucet. After a long day of snowy adventures, this gentle giant just wants to snuggle. They love their human families and will happily purr like a loud motor. With a soft chirp and a twitch of their bushy tail, the Siberian says goodnight.
